My 2004 Mazda 3 CD player quit working why?


in 2004 mazda 3, have 6 disc changer.
so, radio power on. press cd button, word cd comes up... nothing happens.
radio off , on, says there cd in there.
won't eject or load anything.
literally says "cd", nothing.
suggestions?
