recent news article states 'in 2011, there 15 murders, 9 in 2010, “an all-time record low.”

can imagine tv show coroner has 1 murder month deal with, , thought of busy month... that's reality of vancouver :)
watching fishing show every fourth or fifth episode fisherman might catch - there violence, sure. frequent davinci's inquest, numbers suggest otherwise.

How did they get the Skytrain to go underneath False Creek?

canadians have been blasting through mountains , going on or under waterways centuries - george massey tunnel under fraser river being local example. Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
