VIRGIN MEDIA'S NEW BROADBAND UPGRADE - DOES IT REALLY DO WHAT IT SAYS?


got virgin phone/broadband bill , realised they've upped bill. checked why , found they've upgraded service decided test speed using

i'm getting 20.77 mb/s download speed , mere 1.13mb/s upload speed. i've used old scientific atlanta cable modem, got when first switched bt dial mode, onto fiber optic broadband service, why upload stats poor? doubt though, article came across on research confused me further :

virgins announcement of upgrade on bill states: "congratulations on upgrade. you're on 20mb broadband - that's twice old speed , twice fun!"

else out there noticed discrepancy or missing here? 20mb isnt 120mbps or it?

Peugeot 106 door stuck open?

agree other contributors door stay/check arm not going in properly. however, having replaced 1 on 106 last tuesday, understand how work. if can contort in door stay goes in door, stay should flat , pass between 2 upright cylindrical rollers. should not able see end of stay, supposed hook behind 1 of rollers inside door itself. if rollers aren't upright, need new door stay assembly (about £25 peugeot). if stay no longer hooked behind rollers, rollers ok, may able put end of stay through. bit fiddly (i had when fitting new 1 car), 1 of rollers spring-loaded , has levered (you can manage shortish flat screwdriver , 3 skinned knuckles!) allow hooked tip of door stay pass through. not recommend "heavy friend" leaning on door, bend stay, or damage door. if end replacing stay assembly, have remove door inner trim panel @ roller bit. can give advice on fitting new 1 if needed, have typist's cramp @ moment(!), post again if need more help. luck. the door opened wide ,...
