Which processor should i go for ?


im freelancer adn work lot of softwares adn haev alots of programs simulatneously , before had dual core 2.2 ghz laptop ....now broke , working cyber , hence want make smart decision nwo .



better intel pentium processor 3ghz clock speed or intel dual core 3ghz clock speed. ? or major difference ?

presuming clock speed matter irrespective of cores within processors ..........so please help
